Higher raw water input to remove solids.
In this arrangement the input of raw water into the system will be in excess of the water removed through the membranes.
This will minimize increase in the concentration of suspended solids in the membrane tank.
The higher the solids concentration in the raw water, the more should input exceed the treated water amount.
Return excess to source.
Excess raw water may be returned to the source ( dam, channel, river etc) by gravity if the 100e is located close to the raw water source. This should be readily possible if solar or wind power is used. The standard pump supplied with the 100E will pump quite a long distance using 25 mm pipe or larger.
